From the shop floor to the executive suite, Alison is the consummate human resources professional. For over a decade, Alison has built a reputation as a results-oriented team player with strong leadership skills and an acute business sense.
Among Alison's
skills is her gift for building strong, credible relationships among diverse
stakeholders. This talent has been particularly evident at MultiNexus as
she has offered her expertise to various clients in the areas of business
strategy, organizational change and effectiveness, facilitation, training
and leadership development.
Recent accomplishments include working as a member of the City of Ottawa Citizen's Task Force on Council Remuneration. She has also designed and delivered a professional-development courses for the Sprott School of Business (Carleton University) and the University of Ottawa's Faculty of Management. She is currently the Program Chair for the Industrial Relations program at Queen's University's Industrial Relations Centre.
Self-motivated and resourceful with a proven ability to lead, motivate, coach and communicate, Alison has a Bachelor or Arts (Honours) degree in sociology and a Master of Industrial Relations degree, both from Queen's University. A Certified Human Resources Professional, she has received several awards during her career including the KPMG Bravo Award for exceptional work in human resources.
