Alison Cunningham

Alison has 30 years experience as a human resources leader and trusted advisor to senior leaders. Over the past 20 years, she has built a diversified consulting practice, establishing long-term relationships with clients who seek positive change in their organizations and who have a desire to learn about and apply leading practices in a way that fits their business.

Widely appreciated for being a strategic thinker, with a strong focus on continuous improvement, Alison is a pragmatic, results-oriented professional with a high degree of business savvy. Among Alison's skills is her gift for building strong, credible relationships with diverse stakeholders, from the shop floor to the executive suite. She also delights in sharing her expertise with the next generation of human resource professionals through her commitment to teaching and mentoring.

Other Interesting Stuff

  • I’m surrounded by animals. Currently a dog, four cats, and a horse. All rescues.

  • I run. A lot. Several times a week (it keeps me sane). I’ve completed many 5Ks, 10Ks, several half marathons, and one marathon (yup, one was enough).

  • I never let my passport expire. I’ve camped coast-to-coast in both Canada and the US. I’ve explored France, Switzerland, Germany, Portugal, the Azores, Spain, Italy, Scotland, England, Ireland, Iceland, China, Thailand, Laos, Mexico, Ecuador, and Chile. My bucket list of places still to go is longer.

  • I’m addicted to Chai Lattes. Grande, lactose free, extra hot, 3 pump (in case you were wondering). If you haven’t tried one, you should.
